During women’s yoga classes, we follow the rhythm and phases of the moon due to its close relation to our female cycle. And don’t worry at all if your period doesn’t start on the new moon and you don’t ovulate on the full moon. During these classes, we’ll learn how to get in touch with our cycle and tune our yoga practice according to it. Furthermore, However, if you’re transitioning through menopause, you can still benefit from this class as we’ll also learn how to unlock our feminine and creative potential!
𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 – 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: Our period teaches us that we deserve to take a break and rest. The qualities of the first cycle phase are related to the new moon, winter, and the crone – to retreat and release. Respect your moon cycle, so the people around can also learn to do so.
𝐖𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 – 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: From the first day of our menstruation, the follicular phase also begins and eggs start to mature in the ovaries. After the last drops of period blood, we arrive at the waxing moon phase and inner spring of our cycle with the qualities of the virgin.
𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 – 𝐎𝐯𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: When an egg gets fully developed in one of the ovaries, it gets out of the follicle and heads into the fallopian tube where patiently waits for max. 24 hours to be fertilized. This is our ovulation, the full moon and inner summertime of our cycle when we feel more confident and sexier, ready to be out there with the qualities of the lover. We’re most receptive in this phase of our female cycle – for a reason…
𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 – 𝐋𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞: After our mid-cycle and highly energized ovulatory phase, we start to descend into our luteal phase. If the egg didn’t get fertilized, it starts deteriorating during the luteal phase. By this, we also arrive at the inner autumn of our cycle with the waning moon and the qualities of the mother.

Hey, I’m Dia! I’m here to be your guide on your healing & self-discovery journey with all the knowledge and experience I’ve cultivated so far in women’s yoga therapy and female wellness.
As a woman myself, I’ve experienced the ups and downs of my monthly cycle. I used to have unpredictable, irregular cycles with painful periods and mood swings and I just didn’t understand the reasons behind them. Next to these physical symptoms, I also couldn’t embrace my femininity and tried to cover it as I thought it was a “weakness” to show this side of mine along with my true emotions and self.
It took me years to peel the layers of my thick shield and connect with myself in a way like never before. Along my self-discovery journey, I also got in touch with my womb wisdom which further supported me in healing and living in harmony with my female cycle and embracing myself as a woman. I’ve been enjoying this journey ever since, and the desire to learn more about myself, my monthly cycle, and the connection in between just grew.
Now, I’m here to help you learn about your menstrual cycle and how you can heal it; and step out from the shadows of shame, traumas and transgenerational imprints. Through women’s yoga therapy, you’ll be able to heal by first starting at the physical level and peeling down the layers one by one to your core, where your true self will shine through!
