Thai Massage

Thai massage – sometimes known as Thai Yoga Massage or ‘lazy yoga’ – combines acupressure techniques with assisted stretches for the whole body. The therapist will use their hands, elbows, knees and feet to apply pressure to the whole body, opening the energy or ‘Sen’ lines – which have similarities to the Chinese meridian lines – whilst moving the body rhythmically in and out of gentle stretches. The result is a feeling of both relaxation and rejuvenation and is fantastic for improving mobility, flexibility and general well-being.

Thai massage is usually performed on a mattress on the floor (but adapted versions on a bed can be given if the client prefers) with no cream or oils, and as such the client can remain fully clothed.
