Sports Therapy

Localised treatment involving remedial bodywork techniques to relieve pre and post-event muscular tension, trauma and injuries. Its objective is to deal with specific problems and injuries, where the practitioner will perform diagnostic tests to determine the problem.

This treatment targets particular pain and discomfort that other forms of massage might not be able to address. Electrotherapy may be used to aid in the healing process if there is an injury present. This treatment may include advice on useful home rehabilitation exercises and how to improve technique and posture when exercising and doing everyday tasks. This will help to improve the recovery of the client’s problem and help to prevent any further problems.
