Homeopathy

What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a safe, effective and natural form of medicine that can be prescribed to anyone, including babies and pregnant mothers, where conventional treatment may not be recommended.

What can Homeopathy treat?

Homeopathy is suitable for all kinds of people and can treat a wide range of conditions, including recurrent, severe and long-term health problems. Here are some examples of what homeopathy can help with: anxiety, depression, allergies, hay fever, asthma and skin problems such as eczema, digestive problems, migraine headaches, chronic fatigue, auto-immune conditions, hormonal imbalances, such as PMS, period pain, menopause, pregnancy and fertility problems….or when you know something is wrong, but no diagnosis can be found.

How does homeopathy work?

Homeopathy works by stimulating the body’s own self-healing mechanisms. Often the body is attempting to resolve the issue and simply needs a nudge in the right direction. The energetic information provided in the homeopathic remedy provides that nudge. How long it takes for someone to get well will depend on the nature of the problem and the individual’s response to treatment. Generally, the longer a person has had a condition, the longer it may take to treat. However, most people soon experience improved health and a greater sense of well-being.

What will a session involve?

Homeopaths aim to treat the underlying cause of a health problem and not just the symptomatic effects. Therefore they take a detailed case history that takes into account all aspects of your condition, including your past health history and family health traits as well as your current health problems, so that they can formulate a treatment plan according to your individual needs. Treatment will usually involve taking remedies that can be liquid or small pills, most people find the remedies very easy to take.
