Geysir – Universal Water Purifier

Geysir is an elegant water purifier in food-grade and NSF-certified stainless steel model (quality 304, for water purification). It is connected quickly and easily to the kitchen faucet and can be placed freely in a suitable place on the sink. It is easy to move, clean and change cartridges in. All the filter technologies we have invested in can be applied in this purifier, such as Microspiral Filter and Ultrafiltration (UF) in combination with activated carbon. We have developed this combination cartridge in collaboration with the manufacturer of the stainless steel filter housing. Choose which cartridge you prefer.

UF is a high-tech method developed in Japan that mimics nature’s own way of purifying water. The cartridge consists of “hollow fiber”, looks something like super thin straws and along these there are millions of small pores that are from 0.01 micrometers. This effectively prevents unwanted substances and toxins from passing through, even incredibly small particles such as microplastics, bacteria, parasites, viruses, heavy metals, etc. But vital minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and even salts and trace elements are so finely dispersed that they get through the filter. When the filter is filled with contaminants, the water flow through the filter will decrease drastically and it is time to change to a new cartridge.

The second part of the filter cartridge consists of tightly pressed activated carbon in block form. This cartridge part also prevents particles to some extent, but above all, carbon is a technology that has traditionally been used to effectively purify water from pharmaceutical residues, environmental toxins such as PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances) from firefighting foams and industrial chemicals. Coal very effectively removes more than 80 different chemicals. Also used to remove radon, bad smell and taste, and turbidity (turbidid).

These two methods complement each other and both are effective and very pure methods, i.e. they do not excrete any substances into the water.
