An Introduction to Kundalini Yoga

The difference between Kundalini Yoga & other yoga streams, is the overall experience of a heightened sense of awareness and inner peace.

The overall benefits of a regular Kundalini Yoga practice is a greater sense of well-being, connectedness, mindfulness, physical and mental strength and a unique balance of the mind, body and spirit. The elements or a class are:

  • Pranayama – The control of the breath, to calm, cleanse & balance.
  • The Body Locks – The control of prana (the breath) within the body.
  • The Kriya – The flow of a Kundalini Yoga Class.
  • The Meditation – To still the mindwaves.
